OBSCURE ORIGINATORS DEPT

She recorded the original version of one of the most familiar Australian oldies of the 1960s. It was a hit for a much-loved female singer who had many songs on the Australian charts in the 60s and 70s.

This obscure original artist had been a member of US girl group The Angels. She was married to the lead singer of Dickie Doo And The Don'ts.

What was the Australian hit song that she originated? More here.
