Single on Tamla label, B-side of How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You.
THE FOUR CHEVELLES
Darling Forever
(Brian Holland - Freddie Gorman - Lamont Dozier)
USA 1964

Single on Delft #357, B-side of This Is Our Wedding Day, also issued on Bandbox #357.

A version of The Marvelettes' Forever which includes the phrase 'darling, forever'.

Group from Denver, Colorado.

Discographies dating the Bandbox single as 1957 and claiming it was the original version are in error: (1) The earliest Bandbox 45 was #201 in 1959, and #393 was issued in 1969. (2) It is unlikely that future Motown team Dozier-Holland-Gorman would have been collaborating on a song by a Denver band, on a Denver label, as long ago as 1957. (3) The original copyright for the song was lodged with the US Copyright Office in June 1962.
