SVENNE & LOTTA
Funky Feet
(Benny Anderssen - Bjorn Ulvaeus)
Sweden 1976
Original version

Single by husband and wife duo on Polar label, also on the 1976 LP Letters.

Svenne Hedlund, Charlotte 'Lotta' Walker and Benny Anderssen had all been members of The Hep Stars, the most successful Swedish band of the 60s. (See, for example, ABBA - The Site and Karl Dan's Hep Stars website.)

The song was written by Abba's creative duo Benny Anderssen and Bjorn Ulvaeus and recorded by Abba, but not used, for their album Arrival.

Svenne & Lotta's version was released on CD for the first time in 2002 on the compilation Tio Gyllene ar med Svenne & Lotta 1973 - 1983 (Ten Golden Years with Svenne & Lotta).

Unreleased

Unused recording intended for the 1976 album Arrival, apparently rejected because it was too similar to Dancing Queen on the same album.
